In Loving Memory
Frank J. Savell, Sr., age 93, of Framingham, died peacefully surrounded by family on March 6, 2025.
Frank was born in Jamaica Plain on July 26, 1931, he was the cherished son of the late Charles and Barbara (Bonnelle) Savell. Frank was raised and educated in Newton and then attended Northeastern University where he got a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
In 1951, Frank joined the US Navy where he traveled and was stationed many places in the Northern Pacific US. Frank then joined GTE where he used his degree in Electrical Engineering for many years. He finished his career at Bose.
Frank married his best friend, Lynne (Tewksbury) in 1957, where they were married 44+ years. They settled down in Framingham where they raised their family. They enjoyed many celebrations, holidays, and vacations. Frank loved his family and their families (his grandchildren) very much. He was very proud of all his children's and grandchildren's accomplishments. Also, during this time he met and fell in love with his Lord at a bible study Robin and Tom were hosting.
Frank was the beloved father of Robin Langberg and her husband Tom of Lancaster, the late Frank "Jay" Savell Jr. and his late wife Renee of Lancaster, and Mark Savell and his wife Barbara of Hudson, loving grandfather to Hannah, Jonathan, and David Langberg, Justin, Jaimie, Sarah, and Kate Savell, Michaela and Kyle Savell, loving great-grandfather to Cooper and Addie Langberg, and Justin's son Austin Klinge and Jaimie's children Felicia and Justin Murray. Frank was also the dear brother of the late Robert E. Savell.
Family and friends will gather at Trinity Church, 14 Wattaquadock Hill Road, Bolton, MA on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2:00pm for a celebration of his life. A Private Burial will be held at a later time.
